Strong motivation can make your business succeed and will help you survive slowdowns as well as periods of burnout. So you need to ensure that you are determined to succeed in the face of adversity. You should also be aware that the demands of the business will initialy eat into your personal time and freedom. Thus you may find that you are more pre-occupied with the worries of running your business rather than spending quality time with your family and friends. This is perhaps one of the hardest things to cope with when you are starting up and trying to establish yourself.
